Happenings at SRA

Thank you to teachers, students and families for a wonderful start to the 2026-276 school year!

All students and families are invited to join us at Simmons Farm on October 9 for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch! Information has been sent home with the students and responses are due no later than September 30.
The preschool is closed on Friday October 9 so that all staff members may enjoy the pumpkin patch.

During the week of October 12, speech evaluations will be available at the preschool at no cost through Uptown Speech Therapy. Watch your child's folder for more information.

Deputy Tarap from the Allegheny County Sheriff's office will be visiting the preschool on October 16. He will be discussing Halloween Safety with the children.

The annual open house is scheduled for October 19 and 20. Please watch your emails and child's folder for important information regarding this event.

The PreK4 classes will have their Halloween parties on Friday October 30; this is a half day for all PreK4 students. All PreK4 students will dismiss at 11:30.

The PreK3 classes will have their Halloween parties on Thursday October 29 and Friday October 30. These are half days for all PreK3 students; all PreK3 students will dismiss at 11:45.

The preschool is closed Monday November 2 for a teacher in-service.
