The Confraternity of Christian Mothers is a pious association intended for mothers and friends. The members join their hearts in love with the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin, the Mother of Sorrows, and unite under her patronage in mutual prayer and solicitude for the welfare of their children, godchildren, friends, and families.
The Christian Mothers and Women's Guild at St. Raphael the Archangel Parish is a vibrant and dedicated group of women who come together to make a positive impact on the parish community. The guild’s mission is centered around contributing time and talent to support various parish needs, fostering hospitality, and creating a welcoming environment for all.
One of the key activities of the guild is raising funds for the parish. Members use their diverse skills and creativity to organize events and initiatives that generate financial support for projects and parish upkeep.
Providing hospitality is another cornerstone of the guild’s work. Whether it's organizing parish events, supplying homemade treats for a special occasion, or simply offering a friendly smile, these women ensure that everyone feels at home within the parish. Their warmth and kindness are a testament to the spirit of community they nurture.
The guild meets (usually) once a month, offering a space for members to pray, laugh, plan, and enjoy each other's company. These gatherings are more than just meetings; they are opportunities for personal growth, spiritual reflection, and building lasting friendships. Women of all ages, from all three communities in the parish, are encouraged to join and be part of this supportive group.
Women interested in joining the guild are warmly invited to attend a meeting and experience firsthand the camaraderie and purpose that define this group. Whether you're looking to deepen your faith, make new friends, or simply give back to your community, the Christian Mothers and Women's Guild at St. Raphael the Archangel Parish offers a meaningful and fulfilling opportunity.
